is anyone in here that has ombre hair i have a question

is it high maintenance i'm a newb when it comes to dying my hair but i really want ombre but i'm lazy and i don't want anything that's going to make me have to keep getting redone

i got mine done in may and haven't had to do anything with it since then my bff told me to get purple shampoo to tone correct the blonde parts that got a bit brassy and it works wonders

i do nothing to maintain except i redid the ombre once to make it higher on my on with the feria kit because i didn't think the hair colorist i went to did it high enough. as long as you color your tips and not your whole head then your tips then its fine because your hair grows out and the ombre stays. as long as you dont cut your hair frequently or want to refresh the color or make it higher you dont have to do anything aside from deep conditioning so your ends arent killed from the bleaching

not op but i really don't think there's any maintenance at all? as long as the top of your hair is close to your natural you don't have to do anything but dye your roots brown again, the blonde isn't going to change really unless you get a trim and you want to bring the blonde up higher. just use a purple shampoo to take the brass out of the blonde and you really don't have to do anything to it. i've had it for almost a year and i've only redone it once because i had to get a haircut and it made the blonde too short

when i got mine done they didn't bleach it at all they used dye so my ends aren't that damaged at all but it's really no maintenance at all unless you get your haircut

my hair is a medium brown shade naturally i thought for sure the guy was going to use bleach but he mixed together two blonde shades and it came out really nice
